A friend who had done the Camino Way 100 with Spanish Steps gave the tour a glowing recommendation, which is why I signed on. Yet I was still pleasantly surprised at how super organized everything was. From the plotting out of the daily routes, and fabulous places to eat. Van support if someone needed a short break. Comfortable lodging. Our guides Sofie and Gail were absolutely wonderful. They took excellent care of us in every possible way imaginable and I loved the delicious snacks they provided for us every day. I also had lovely fellow pilgrims in my group. We bonded together and with our guides during a special week that I will always remember. I’m already thinking about when I might return for a longer Camino!

Everything was excellent. This was our third journey with Spanish Steps, and on all three occasions they have gone far beyond our expectations.
The logistics were flawless, the meals outstanding, and there was clear attention to detail throughout, especially in how thoughtfully the itinerary was personalized. The guides took us exactly where we hoped to go — churches and sites of deep significance — with a special sensitivity to the spiritual dimension of the journey, particularly the visit related to Carlo Acutis.
A special mention goes to Virginio, whose warmth, good humor, and perfectly timed insights added tremendous value to the experience. He managed to adapt the entire journey in an extraordinary way, allowing us to complete it fully using a Joëlette, navigating mountains, villages, and stairways without difficulty. What initially seemed impossible became a deeply human and joyful experience, with all travelers feeling grateful and smiling throughout.
It was truly a memorable journey — one that leaves a lasting impression and invites you to return.
